Thank you so much for all your fundraising in 2013. We only have the space to mention a few but we sincerely appreciate all of your continued support.

Gary David who held a fundraising evening at The Royal Oak in Bishops Cleeve raising over £5,000.

Helen Ellis raised over £13,000 in memory of her husband Richard. Helen and friends held a ball at Cheltenham Racecourse and an auction of Richard’s tools.

Clare Woodward and her team of physiotherapists at ‘Back into Action’ also held an event in memory of Richard raising £1,500.00 for LINC.

Kohler Mira had an exceptional year raising money for LINC. A massive £21,000.00 was raised by the staff which was then matched by the management making a whopping £42,000.

Special thanks to all of you who took part last year in our challenge events, Cheltenham Triathlon and in September the Cheltenham half marathon.

Some of our staff took part and Oncology nurse, Gail Tingley, raised over £800 in her first half marathon. Ian Ingledew also took part raising funds for LINC.

Ali Turner-Lovett has been baking and selling cakes in Oncology, as well as parachute jumping with Josh Peett.  Sister Vivienne McCrorie and her husband Tony arranged an evening of Punk Rock bands at The Frog and Fiddle.

Cath Beck and her team of tireless fundraisers took part in this year’s Cheltenham triathlon. She has had an amazing amount of support from friends and family and they have been tirelessly raising funds for LINC, so a big thank you to each of them.

A huge thank you must also go the Barry Watson, Manager of Montpellier Chapter, for his amazing generosity in sponsoring a Festive Meal for all the LINC shop volunteers. It was a really lovely evening and a way for us to thank all those who give their time to support the shop.
