Yet again we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received in 2012 and would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and donations. We would just like to mention a few events and supporters that have raised funds for us recently.
Our very own dear Betty Stinton, a wonder woman who tirelessly fundraises, bakes cakes for the Edward Jenner staff and always brings a smile when she visits. This time Betty has raised funds with an Indian meal for friends at The Spicy Aroma in Churchdown.
Pat Collins and everyone in Sandhurst Village who has helped in any way to raise the magnificent donations totalling £3,914.73 that was presented to Stephan Bates, Chair of the LINC Trustees at Sandhurst Village Church on Sunday 30 September.
The 5 Parishes Fun Ride (on horseback) raised £2,500 and fundraising activities within the village during the Diamond Jubilee raised a further £1,414.73.
Kohler Mira who have adopted LINC as their charity of the year. £16,000 was raised from a Hollywood Ball and staff are still raising funds.
UCAS for their ongoing support from their staff.
Cotswold Conveyancing and Randall Payne for choosing LINC as their charity of choice.
GE Aviation for their printing support and raising funds from sales in the coffee shops, events and their staff fundraising.
Matthew Quartley for his fundraising evening at The Royal Oak Jennie Didcote from Bishops Cleeve Post Office for collecting at the post office for many years.
Koloshi Restaurant who held a delicious Diwali dinner and raised over £1,500. A fabulous evening was enjoyed by all.
Finally, special thanks go to Edgar Smith, who kindly answered an appeal from Sali at LINC to help look after two dogs for the last few months whilst one of our patients receives treatment.
Once again, thanks for helping to change people’s lives now and into the future.
