Gill Rouse adjMarch 31st marked the end of a successful financial year both for LINC and for the LINC Shop. I would like to thank everyone who has supported us during the past 12 months in any capacity.

Over £29K has been raised by individuals taking part in challenge events – an amazing sum and both the cycle ride and the golf day raised more than the previous year. More information about these and other events will be available shortly in the Annual Report 2014.

On behalf of Sally Clark (LINC shop manager) I would like to thank those who have donated items of clothing and jewellery to the LINC Charity Shop on the Bath Road – please keep it coming.

During 2013-14 we have given financial aid to several families and have bought new equipment and furniture for Rendcomb Ward totalling nearly £30K. This includes new reclining chairs and new patient monitoring machines.

The Make a Difference Campaign now stands at £150K with the help of a £25K grant from the Kay Kendall Fund.

I am hopeful that we will soon be able to appoint a new LINC Clinical Psychologist for 3 days a week which will make a huge difference to our haematology cancer patients.

We couldn’t have done any of this without your help – thank you – your support is very important to us.
