When our Make a Difference Campaign was launched at the beginning of 2013 to provide more clinical psychology time, we decided on a fun activity to encourage local schools to get on board and have a fundraising event for us.
We named it a ‘Rainbow Day’, where pupils have a dress down day, on a date of their choice, and wear anything bright and colourful, making a small donation to LINC to show their support.
We are delighted to let you know that this colourful campaign has so far raised just over £4700 thanks to Cirencester Deer Park School, Focus School, Stow on the Wold Primary School, The Richard Pate School, The Thrupp School and Winchcombe Abbey C of E Primary School. The pupils have had amazing fun holding rainbow themed events, including cake sales and a sponsored walk.
A big thank you to all involved, your support is greatly appreciated.
LINC Rainbow Days are not restricted only to schools, so if you or anyone you know is interested in holding a Rainbow Day event in your workplace, community group or church for LINC please contact Louise Adkins on 0300 422 5274 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
