After a summer of the Jubilee and Olympics, LINC had its very own Olympic torch bearer.

Louise Makin from the LINC office in Gloucester Royal Hospital carried the torch on 13th July in Portland. She was awarded this for her charitable and community work when she worked at Cheltenham and Gloucester/Lloyds TSB.  Well done Louise, we are all very proud to have you on board.

Thanks to our wonderful group of ladies that ran the BUPA 10k in London on a very hot Sunday in May – a staggering amount of over £4,000 was raised. Well done especially to Emma Rogers who was diagnosed with Acute Leukaemia four years ago and has been a wonderful friend to LINC over the years. Now recovered and a huge LINC supporter, we were all very proud to see her take part and raise funds with her family and friends. Well done to everyone that ran.

Thanks to ABC Services for sponsoring the bibs, Creed Cateringfor once again supporting us with the water and barbecue for everyone that took part in this years 3 Counties Cycle ride. Many thanks to the lovely volunteers who helped on the day. See you next year!
