mark wynnA big thank you to Mark Wynn who has completed another big adventure and raised over £4,500 and still coming in! Mark completed the coast to coast path across Costa Rica on his bicycle.

Starting on the west coast, this three day race crossed desert, rain forest, volcanoes, mountains, rivers and swamps. Temperatures from freezing to 40 degrees added to a true outpouring of mud, sweat and tears.

Well done also to Laura Roberts and Claire Smith for taking part in the Thames Path Challenge, a really gruelling, hard 24-hour walk along the Thames. Money is still rolling in.

Good Luck to more supporters taking on challenges…

Kevin Dunn, ex Gloucester Rugby and Wasps runs in his second London marathon but his first for LINC. Annie Gianni, also takes on the marathon for the first time and wants to support LINC as a family member has been supported at the clinic for some years. And Clive Organ, who is married to Karen, LINC’s Fundraising Manager, will be tackling the marathon for the first time. Good luck to all of them!

Warren Stallard who has himself been a LINC patientis taking part in Ride London. He is now fit and able to fundraise with this big challenge for LINC in the summer. Staff nurse Anne Caiden along with her husband Paul and son Olly have pledged to run the Bupa London 10,000 in aid of LINC in May 2013. Anne works in the Edward Jenner Unit and her job is to care for the patients who benefit from our vital fundraising.

Good Luck to all, if you feel inspired to take on a challenge, please contact the team.
